WWE Smackdown: Asuka survives fight with Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch

By Wade Sheridan

Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Asuka was the last one standing following a hard-hitting brawl with Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch on Smackdown.

The fight broke out among the trio following Asuka's main event match against Flair on Tuesday, a rematch from WrestleMania 34.

Flair, just like in her bout against Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series in November, grew frustrated and lost the match via disqualification when she attacked Asuka with a kendo stick.

Lynch, the Smackdown Women's Champion, was viewing the contest from the announcer's table and decided to leave following the disqualification before she was suddenly attacked by Flair as well. Lynch, who also goes by The Man, retaliated by throwing Flair into the steel steps and attacking her with the kendo stick.

Asuka then recovered and took out Lynch before grabbing the kendo stick and viciously attacking both women repeatedly. Asuka ended the right by standing tall on the announcer's table as Smackdown went off the air.

Lynch will be defending her Smackdown Women's Championship against Flair and Asuka at TLC on Sunday in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match.

Also on Smackdown, WWE Champion Daniel Bryan faced off against 205 Live's Mustafa Ali after Bryan chastised Ali for driving an SUV. Bryan, like last week, continued to bad mouth the audience for being wasteful consumers who harm the environment.

Ali gave it his all against Bryan who regained control of the match after the high-flyer missed his finishing maneuver, the 054. The champ then attacked Ali's leg and won the match after Ali tapped out to the Heel Hook.

Bryan continued to assault Ali afterwards by stomping on his face and locking in a second Heel Hook. Bryan defends his WWE Championship against AJ Styles at TLC.

Other moments from Smackdown included The Miz orchestrating a match for himself and Shane McMahon to take on and defeat local talent the The Vegas Boys; Rey Mysterio attacking Randy Orton with a steel chair; Rusev and Jeff Hardy defeating United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and Samoa Joe; and Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Bar taking on The Usos in a rap battle that was moderated by The New Day.

The rap battle involved The Bar, consisting of Sheamus and Cesaro, giving a rendition of Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby" while The Usos poked fun at Sheamus' hair and how Cesaro once lost his front teeth during a match. Sheamus and Cesaro ended things by attacking both The Usos and The New Day.
