California U.S. Senate candidate Loretta Sanchez shocked opponent Kamala Harris by "dabbing" during their only debate. Sanchez performed the dance move popularized by rap group Migos in response to the moderator's attempts to enforce the debate's time limit.

The crowd laughed and Harris appeared shocked as Sanchez extended her arms into the pose popularized by the rap group Migos and Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.
"So, there's a clear difference between the candidates in this race," Harris responded, according to the L.A. Times.
Following the debate Sanchez spokesman, Luis Vizcaino, tweeted that the move was part of why millennials support her campaign.
Nathan Click, a spokesmen for Harris, argued that Sanchez's performance left something to be desired.
"Her dab was as weak as the rest of her debate performance," he tweeted.
