Macaw flies alongside water skiing boat in Greece

PAROS, Greece, March 14 (UPI) -- The driver of a water skiing boat in Greece shared video of his pet macaw parrot keeping pace with the vessel at nearly 30 mph.

The video, posted to YouTube by waterskizone, shows Vito the macaw flying alongside the boat in waters off the Kolimbithres beach on the island of Paros.

Vito easily keeps pace with the boat, which was pulling a water skier at speeds of about 28 mph.

Vito's canine companion keeps a close watch over the bird's flight from the safety of the boat.
