WASHINGTON, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- A computer modder constructed a fully operating gaming computer designed to look like a Star Destroyer ship from the Star Wars films.

Sander van der Velden built the "YAZI" Venator Class Star Destroyer computer using aluminum and 3D printed material and logged the entire process in a forum post.

"The call came in about a week before the cutting of the aluminum, hence the reason why Pascal and I worked until 3 a.m. to get it sorted," he wrote in the post. "It proved not to be the last day I was up until late!"

Van der Velden's hard work paid off as the model is planed to be showcased at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in 2016.
