SEOUL, June 18 (UPI) -- The Korea Times is inspiring jokes from sports fans across the Internet with a headline saying football team the Chicago Bears won hockey's Stanley Cup.

A photo of the Korea Times sports page from Wednesday features a photo of the victorious Chicago Blackhawks posing with the Stanley Cup after defeating Tampa Bay, but the headline accompanying the photo and article reads, "Chicago Bears clinch Stanley Cup."

Reddit users were quick to find the humor in the situation.

"Once again, Cutler didn't even show up," joked Redditor Patrick_Kane -- probably not the same Patrick Kane who plays right winger for the Blackhawks.

"The Blackhawks are easily my favorite baseball team in the whole NBA #Endthelockout," LouChainz88 wrote.

"That's the closest the Bears will get to a championship this season," Pikach1989 quipped.

The Korea Times' gaffe was reminiscent of a recent East Oregonian headline hailing Oakland Athletics ambidextrous relief pitcher Pat Venditte as an "amphibious pitcher."
