Porn star appears on cover of Thai math textbook

BANGKOK, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- A Thai textbook publisher recalled 3,000 copies of a math textbook after a stock photo of a "teacher" on the cover was found to have come from a porn film.

The picture adorning the cover of publisher MuangThai Book's "Basic Mathematics" text features several pictures of apparent teachers looking over equations, and a prominently featured image depicts a young woman in a suit looking through a file labeled "mathematics."

The books were recalled when college students pointed out online that the woman was pornography actress Mana Aoki and the image was a promotional still from an adult video titled "Costume Play Working Girl."

About 3,000 copies of the textbook were sold before the publisher replaced the cover image, RocketNews24 reported.
