LOS ANGELES, July 25 (UPI) -- Uma Thurman has joined the cast of Adam Jones.

The 44-year-old actress will star alongside Bradley Cooper, Sienna Miller, Jamie Dornan and Emma Thompson in the new John Wells (August: Osage County) film. Cooper portrays the title character, a famous chef known for his untraditional style and bold flavors. Jones assembles a stellar team in order to earn a third Michelin star for his restaurant.

The movie was written by Steven Knight (Eastern Promises), and Wells, Michael Shamberg, Stacey Sher and Erwin Stoff will produce. The feature was originally titled Chef, but director Jon Favreau premiered a comedy film of the same name at South by Southwest in March.

Thurman most recently appeared in Lars Von Trier's Nymphomaniac, and is rumored to star in Kill Bill: Vol. 3 in the future. Cooper will next appear alongside Jennifer Lawrence in Serena later this year.
